About

This garden is located in the United States, in a rural area of Zone 6 in the Midwest.

Primary inspirations are pulled from rustic and cottage-styled gardens, the UK, and practicality.

Between working 40+ hours a week, my husband, and raising our toddler daughter, I have a ‘hobby’ amount of time to spend in the garden.

What learning I have I’ve gleaned from books, the internet, and hands on trial and error. One day I’d like to take a master course.

I have killed COUNTLESS plants. But I have also managed to bring a fair few back from the brink.

Mostly, I love the hands-on of it, having patience rewarded with the excitement of growing things, and in the end having something tangible to show for all the effort.
